Cows are sacred in our Hindu community. With a view to contribute to the efforts of preserving native breed of cows, a Gosala was started near the Home with modern facilities.  At present, the gosala has 50 cows and calves. The cows are allowed to graze in the large farm and nearby ground. The milk/ghee is used in the temples, seniors’ home and patasala. Organic manure from gosala is used to maintain the organic farm and for other farm activities.
